A health and wellness coach is a wellness authority who motivates, guides, supports and encourages individuals to cultivate healthy choices that support greater well-being in mind, body and spirit.

Most people know what they could be doing to improve their health and well-being, but many aren’t actually implementing the tools to get there. They either don’t have the know-how, lack energy and motivation, or aren’t sure what would work best for their specific needs. This is where a health and wellness coach, such as myself, can support you.

By honing in on the health and wellness information that’s relevant to you as an individual, I’ll empower you to make lasting behavior changes that serve as the foundation for overall health and well-being. This takes place by helping you clarify your values, guiding you to create a vision for your life, developing a healthy mindset, cultivating healthy habits, and encouraging you every step of the way until you accomplish your goals.

Q: How can a health and wellness coach help me?

A health and wellness coach serves as an accountability partner who will support and encourage you along your personal health and wellness journey.

Even when you feel like you want to give up, I’ll guide, motivate and inspire you to continue moving forward by helping you discover ways to successfully implement healthy lifestyle behavior changes and modifications across the dimensions of mind, body and spirit that will allow you to manifest your highest potential.

Q: Why would I want to hire a health and wellness coach?

Maybe you have personal goals you want to achieve but feel so overwhelmed that you don’t know where to start. Or you’ve found that making drastic changes all at once isn’t sustainable and doesn’t work for you long-term.

That’s where working with a health and wellness coach comes in.

As a health and wellness coach, I’ll help you implement small changes, little by little, at a pace that’s comfortable for you so you can meet all your health and wellness goals. I’ll also help you feel your best by creating an individualized wellness plan that is tailored to meet your unique and specific needs. This can include anything and everything from practicing better self-care, to getting in better shape, to de-stressing and experiencing better work-life balance, to improving nutrition, and even helping tame chronic health issues.

The coach-client relationship is a collaborative process, in which there is an emphasis on implementing tools that will empower you toward self-awareness, self-efficacy, personal success, and optimal wellness.

It is a very empowering experience in that I’ll also help you facilitate healthy, sustainable behavior changes by encouraging you to listen to your inner wisdom, identify your values, and transform your goals into actions.

In addition, health and wellness coaching takes place through multiple processes, including:

  • Exploring motivational factors, individual core values and goals.

  • Creating a wellness vision that empowers you to see new possibilities.

Q: Is there a guarantee that this will work?

Health and wellness coaching is a process that facilitates healthy, sustainable behavior changes that will challenge you to develop your inner wisdom, identify your values, and transform your goals into actions. But just like when you see a medical doctor or take medicine, there is no guarantee of a specific outcome.

However, health and wellness coaching is founded on evidence-based clinical interventions, which means that when we work together, I am using multiple proven methods to help you achieve your goals.

Q: What doesn’t a health and wellness coach do?

It’s important to know what a health and wellness coach doesn’t do. A health and wellness coach is not a doctor, nutritionist, dietician, therapist or personal trainer.

Therefore, I do not prescribe anything, nor will I tell you what to do. Rather, as a health and wellness coach, I’ll put the power in your hands and support you in every way I can to achieve your goals and make the decisions you feel are best for your life.
